Lake Como
45.99° NVillas right on the water. You can do the ceremony on the terrace and bring guests over by boat.
When I was planning my own wedding abroad I ended up contacting over 400 venues just to find out what they cost. Now I do that bit for you. Tell me your budget, how many guests and where you're thinking, and I'll put together a detailed shortlist of venues that actually fit, with the real prices and who to email, presented properly so you'll want to keep coming back to it.
Fill in a form, no calls · from £69
You find a venue you love, you email them, you wait a week, you get a brochure, and it turns out it was never going to work for your budget. Then you do it all again with the next one.
I've already done that bit, hundreds of times over, so you can start with the venues you can actually afford.
It takes about ten minutes and there's no call. I ask about your budget, guest numbers, when you're thinking, which countries you like and the sort of place you picture, whether that's a villa, a castle, something by the beach or a vineyard.
I've got brochures, quotes and emails from hundreds of venues, and I add to them every time I travel. I pick the ones that fit your numbers and your style, and I always leave room in the budget for everything that comes after the venue.
Not a list of links. A properly researched, beautifully put-together shortlist: a photo page and a full write-up for every venue, the real rates, a total worked out for your guest count, and my personal ranking at the end. It comes as a PDF to keep, print and send to your partner. Then you get in touch with the venues yourself.

Villas right on the water. You can do the ceremony on the terrace and bring guests over by boat.

Farmhouses and old estates in the countryside, usually with rooms on site so everyone can stay.

White villas with the sea behind you and long, warm evenings.

Fincas up in the hills and big estates on the coast, all close to the beach.

Haciendas and places along the coast, and it's still warm enough for an October wedding.

Châteaux and domaines, lavender if you go in July, dinner outside in the courtyard.

Quintas and cliff-top villas with the beach right there, and good value for what you get.

Across the water from Corfu. Still quiet, prices to match, and venues that want to host weddings.
Como and Tuscany are the two I get asked about most, but I cover the whole of Europe. If the place you want isn't here, just put it on the form.
Pick how many venues you want. Every shortlist is researched from scratch for you, and most land in your inbox within 72 hours.
For brides who already have a rough idea and want an expert sense-check before going any deeper. Three venues matched to your budget, guest count and style, with real pricing for each one and every hidden catch flagged.
Choose The Shortlist →Enough room to compare two regions, or a villa against a castle, properly. Six venues with pricing, guest capacity, accommodation and direct venue contacts, and any supplier restrictions flagged before they become a problem.
Choose The Full Picture →The full search, for when you're still deciding between countries or styles. Ten venues with a complete breakdown of why each one suits you, plus the catches, how they compare and what to ask for, written up so you go into every email knowing exactly where you stand.
Choose The Insider Edit →Pages from a shortlist I made for a couple getting married in Europe in June 2027. Every venue gets three pages, and the whole thing ends with my ranking.
Whether you pick 3, 6 or 10 venues, every one of them gets the full treatment.
I'm a bride too. I'm getting married in 2027, so I'm going through all of this at the same time as you.Wedding Atlas, est. by a bride
I started Wedding Atlas while I was planning my own wedding abroad. I wanted a villa with a view and a price I could trust, and every single website said “enquire for pricing”. So I did, over 400 times.
All of that ended up in a spreadsheet, and that spreadsheet is what I now use to build shortlists for other brides. I add to it every time I travel and see venues in person, which is a lot. I've spent the last few years living abroad and I'm rarely in one place for long, so when a venue goes on your shortlist there's a good chance I've stood in it.
I'm not a wedding planner, and I don't want to be one. I'm the friend who did all the research, kept the spreadsheet, and will tell you what things actually cost.

Thank you so much for putting together the venue shortlist! I absolutely loved it, and it has saved me sooo much time - I really appreciate all the effort that went into it. I especially love Option 3. It's definitely my favourite and really stands out to me. Thanks again for making this process so much easier!
Wedding Atlas is an absolutely fantastic service. Myself and my partner have spent the past 3 months searching for the perfect venue, feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to start. Wedding Atlas has taken that stress away, providing us with beautiful venues, contact details, cost breakdowns and photos. We couldn't recommend them enough and we wish we had used the service earlier!
I just want to say a massive thank you for your service. You have provided us with some really great options all within our budget and with all of our requests. You have gone above and beyond with the service, replying within 24 hours with 7 amazing venues and prices included. Would highly recommend your service to any bride/groom to be who needs some help with searching for their special venue.
I would definitely recommend Wedding Atlas if you're in search for a wedding venue. The shortlist was sent to me within 2 days and was set out clear and very detailed. I also had some additional questions, which she helped me with - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again!!
Okay WOW! Thank you so much for sending this over! I'm going to go through it with my partner this weekend and will let you know if I have any questions. And I'll absolutely keep you in the loop, thank you SO much for your help! This makes me so much more excited about a wedding I truly can't thank you enough.
Thank you so much for the detailed recommendation of venues. These are beautiful and some I'm sure I could not have found on our own.
I share the venues I visit on Instagram and TikTok, with the hire fee right there on screen. The longer write-ups (things like what 50 guests costs in Como vs Tuscany) go out in my newsletter.
No. I find and shortlist venues. Once you've got your shortlist, you get in touch with the venues yourself and the planning is yours (or your planner's).
No. Each entry tells you who to email and what to ask, so your first message is a good one. Booking directly also means it's just you and the venue, no middle person.
Because the form tells me everything I need, and it keeps the price down. You do it once, whenever suits you, and I work from that. If you have questions once your shortlist arrives, just reply to the email.
From the venues. Brochures, quotes and emails from over 400 enquiries, and I keep updating them as I travel. Prices do move with the season and the year, so each entry tells you what to double-check when you email.
Anywhere in Europe. Italy, Greece, Spain and France come up the most, but I've looked at Portugal, Albania and plenty of others too. Just put the place on the form.
No, the fee is for the research. The actual hire fees and catering prices for each venue are in your shortlist, so you know what you'd be paying before you email anyone.
